A very impressive flag raising cerimony Monday evening at Nanaimo's City Hall. Having MLA Leonard Krogg and Vern White representing MP Jean Crowder speaking on behalf of our senior governments certainly shows that Gay Pride is making a positive contribution to our Country. Diane Brennon, as acting Mayor of Nanaimo reading the City's Proclemation of "Pride week in Nanaimo 2005" made my heart swell with Pride for our City. The 2005 Pride Committee is to be commended for their efforts in starting Pride Week activaties with such class. Good On you!
