I used to leave home in San Francisco and visit Nanaimo on my summers off school. In the past, Nanaimo's gay community was almost invisible to me. In fact, when i would visit, i would think that i was the only gay person there. But now im starting to see the city begin to grow in such a rapid period of time. I applaud your efforts because you guys have come so far. good luck.
